Is MagnaWave/PEMF Safe for my pets? Safe to use on my equine athlete?
100% Yes! MagnaWave machines are generally safe to use. However, understand that MagnaWave machines are not
medical devices and do not treat or cure diseases or symptoms. We recommend consulting with your veterinarian concerning your pets or horses.
Can MagnaWave be used before an event or competition?
Yes, however I suggest that if it is the first time your horse is every having a Every horse is different, and so every horse will react differently to a session. Some will become more relaxed after the therapy so they might not have that edge before an event. However, some horses are not affected in that way and are ready to perform after a session. So, try it on your horse before an event to measure its performance and decide for yourself.
What is the difference between the PEMF blankets and your machine?
While the therapy is similar, MagnaWave is not a static magnet. The difference is in the delivery method, power and how MagnaWave PEMF yields a deeper penetration. The higher power of MagnaWave PEMF provides shorter treatment times and often immediate results. What the blankets can do in 2 to 3 weeks most MagnaWave machines can do in 10 minutes.
My dog is pregnant can they still get MagnaWave?
NO! NO! and NO! At no time while any animal or human is pregnant can they receive a session. There is no research available at this time that assures us that your pet's baby or your baby would be safe. If we are working on your dog, it is important for you to tell us if you yourself are pregnant, as even if the machine is not directly on you there is still an effect from it if you are within 6 feet of the machine. We do not allow pet owners to be in the room with their dog if they are pregnant.
