MEGAN - OWNER / CEO
Megan founded Hooves and Paws in 2022 after attending Lake Erie College, where she gained extensive equine knowledge. From day one her motivation to create Hooves and Paws has been fueled by her desire to help all animals feel and perform at their very best
Megan’s education and experience couldn’t be more in line with her goals for this practice. With a background of nearly 25 years with horses and dogs along with an associate degree from Lake Erie College in equine studies. During college and after college, she has worked alongside top quality trainers and individuals in the industry.
Hooves and Paws is not just limited to baking delicious homemade goodies for your pets. We have expanded into other services such as PEMF therapy, aromatherapy, red light therapy, and thermal imaging. Hooves and Paws is dedicated to providing services that are tailored to making animals feel their very best no matter what kind of animal.
SHILOH - ULTIMATE TREAT TESTER
Shiloh is my world; he is my best friend and is an emotional support dog. He is also Hooves and Paws ultimate test taker. He is a beagle, so there really is not too many things he does not like, but it is important to us that we know what is going into his body and keeping him at a healthy weight. Shiloh's favorite treat is probably the ones that are named after him Shiloh's Peanut Butter Madness, he just loves when the peanut butter jar comes out.
SKY - EQUINE TREAT TESTER
This is Sky! Sky is a 20-year-old ex racehorse! Sky can be EXTREMELY picky on what he eats, and one little thing can make his tummy upset. Horses have a more sensitive digestive system than people might think and knowing what it is they are eating is important. When we started Hooves and Paws the first three flavors Sky would NOT eat them, we almost gave up with horse treats until we finally realized we need to make treats that have grain and molasses in them. Sky now LOVES every treat he tastes, and at 20 years old he is still jumping and competing like he was a young gun!
